8 things you can do right now to make Q4 Suck Less

Yes, 4th quarter is right around the corner. And there's still a chance you make this a fantastic year...but unless you're already having one, doing the same old same old over the next 3 months isn't going to get you there.
Even worse than that is the potential of starting 2025 on the wrong foot.
Here are 8 things you can do to make this coming quarter suck less than the last...
1. Get clear on what you want-
Most small business owners and pros want too many things and that lack of specificity causes confusion for them, their network, and the universe. Get focused and achieve more.
2. Work on your messaging-
You have to share things that solve problems that your ideal clients have. You want to paint a picture they want to see themselves in. Imagine being able to easily create social media posts in under 4 minutes that generate new leads every day.
3. Get an accountability partner -
One thing I've noticed about people, regardless if they're high performers, or under-performers, is we are less likely to let someone else down than we are to let ourselves down. Share your goals, steps to get there, and when you'll have them done. Check in frequently.
4. Get better at relationships -
There are two parts: building them, and maintaining them. Both take effort. How much time you spend on each activity depends on how many productive relationships you already have. The more you have, the less you need new ones.

5. Have an unstuck plan -
It's to get stuck, but it's not okay to stay that way. Figure out where you want to go and look for three or four of the quickest ways to get there. Break it down into simple steps. Do one step. Then do the next.
6. Show up -
This is my number one rule for networking. It's equally applicable whether you're going to an event, or putting yourself (and your company) out there online. Plan on going to two events a month and posting at least five times a week.
7. Ask for more.
There are really only two ways to grow your business. One is to find more customers. The second is to get customers to pay you more. So, you'll need to ask for more opportunities AND raise your price. Don't forget to lead with value.
8. Steele your mindset -
Life is nothing more than a series of pats on the back, and kicks in the gonads. The only thing that matters is how you respond to either. Do yourself a favor and keep your highs low, and lows high.
Which one are you going to work on?
Which one scares you the most?
