Currently, I am working as an employee in a corporation, in Startups (although I am in the BOD of Startups, I am also an employee), as well as running my own projects.
Thanks to this, I currently have 5 different sources of income, which helps me to have a much more stable career than most people who are only entrepreneurs or employees.
From this, I see that if entrepreneurs and employees can learn to become good "Entreployee" to have a more fulfilling life.
With a practical perspective, I see that to become a good "Entreployee", you need to learn the following 8 things (Part 2):
5) Start with simple projects first
The legendary investor Warren Buffet said:
"I don't try to jump over a 2-meter high bar. I look around and look for bars that are only a few inches high to step over."
I have seen many Entreployees set unrealistic goals and give up early.
You should start and complete each small step immediately.
It helps to give you confidence, and gradually increase your experience, knowledge, and wisdom.
From there, you will gradually mature and progress on the path to becoming a good "Entreployee".
Example:
After having a large enough number of articles, I collected them to create a separate Blog.
When I had many quality articles, I successfully edited and published a book "Saving 12 months of startup".
When the work of one Startup is stable, I move on to the next.
If I had joined the BOD of 6 companies at the same time (or immediately published a book), I would also have been overwhelmed and given up.
6) Reflect on what you have done
It is a fact that people often forget and repeat old mistakes.
That makes them waste time and money to solve repetitive tasks.
Good Entreployees always take the time to reflect on what they have done.
You can go back to reflect, you can sit down and write and reflect.
These documents help you read and review before you make an important decision.
And you will avoid making the same mistakes, as well as improve your abilities better.
Example:
Hong10 is a Korean BBoy legend that I admire.
He recently won the world's biggest 1vs1 BBoy tournament Red Bull BC One for the 3rd time at the age of 38.
In each match, he always brings a camera to record himself.
Then he reflects and improves continuously.
I watched his first Hiphop dance videos in 2005, now it's 2024.
The interesting thing is that he keeps getting better, regardless of his age (he is now 40 years old).
7) Practice over and over again
What you do every day plays a more important role than what you do occasionally.

I have a friend who is a senior manager, he always talks about starting his own business.
However, he always has his own reasons: sometimes he just got married, sometimes he waits for his children to grow up.
Currently, he is still waiting for the current economic recession to pass.
And he is still a hard-working senior manager at that corporation.
He is a good employee, but not a good entrepreneur.
You should write every day, join more companies every day, start new businesses every day, and create new sources of income every day.
That repetition is extremely helpful on the journey to becoming a good Entreployee.
8) You are the average of the 6 people around you
Humans rarely make great progress if they are only individuals.
We are a species that lives in groups and communities.
You should hone your skills to become outstanding in one area.
Then join other outstanding people.
You will learn and progress together in a short time.
Example:
When I decided to learn writing seriously 2 years ago
I sat down and read all the autobiographical books of entrepreneurs Rockefeller, Justin Welch, ….
Each person has a different way of writing and thinking.
I read it all, write it down and apply it, based on my own knowledge and experience.
And now you see the results with the startup content and fundraising ecosystem that I currently own.
In conclusion,
You need to learn the following 8 things to become a good "entrepreneur":
