These bite-size videos, typically less than one minute in length, are highly sharable and 2.5 times more engaging than longer videos. About 34% of consumers appreciate the more genuine nature of short-form content.

About 76% of social media users have purchased items on social media. And, it’s not just make-up and small-ticket items. Content creators are selling high-ticket, luxury items on social.

The average baby boomer is worth $1.2 million. By 2030, millennials will inherit $68 trillion, the greatest transfer of wealth in history is in full effect. It’s important to be growing this audience now.

  • Engagement is everything.

According to SEMRush Social, in 2024, algorithms will get even smarter and start favoring content that gets people talking, sparks reactions and encourages community engagement. This means that shares (publicly or by DM) will become a very important KPI for social media professionals to observe and work on.

At the same time, social media networks will be all about content that inspires discussions, promotes comments and generates user-generated content. This trend will link back again to authenticity; creating a sense of community around your brand, increasing brand loyalty and reaching a bigger audience organically.

  • It’s time to leverage TikTok.

About 24% of TikTok users are over the age of 35, and that audience is increasing. Plus the algorithm is generous in sharing content of new users, growing accounts quickly in the early days. More and more luxury brands are turning to TikTok, and there is an opportunity to grow while the growing is good.

  • LinkedIn produces organic results.

LinkedIn will be one of your most powerful ways to reach a business community network; 61 million companies are on LinkedIn. About 77% of marketers say that LinkedIn produces the best organic results. LinkedIn is great for targeting an audience and attracting prospects. The newest way to engage with your LinkedIn audience is carousels.
