I have a habit of noting down the life lessons learnt in everything I do. Today, I want to put down such experiences in a crisp way from one of my favorite hobbies - Cycling.
This article shows us the commonality between these lessons and our workplace.
It all seems impossible until it's done ( Quote by Mr. Nelson Mandela ). The best solution for doing the undoable is to squeeze ourselves so hard that the task should become the new normal in mind. #Conviction is everything.
There are so many knowledgeable people around us, who would love to help us when we go and ASK for help. #NoAskNoGet
No uphill or downhill ride is permanent. They are part and parcel of the ride. #We can earn a smooth and comfy downhill ride only when we are willing to stretch ourselves on an uphill journey.
We need to have gratitude towards everything we are blessed with. We often take little things in life for granted. #We realize the real value of them only when we lose them.
Everyone has their unique style of riding (or driving a business), it's alright to take inputs from others whenever required, but we shouldn't forget to follow our own style. #Being original is a strength and it makes us more beautiful!
Building relationships in the process is a great way to form bonds with people. #Networking works in a crazy way!
Expecting the unexpected ensures to keep us more involved in what we do, also helps us in having FLOW-like experiences. #Be on your toes, always!
Waking up at 3:45 am to start a ride is uncomfortable, but it feels totally worth it when we complete the target distance. #Pain is temporary, Pride is forever.
