You've probably heard that "The fortune is in the follow-up". It's a cliche for a reason. 


According to The Rule of 7, "A prospect needs to 'hear' the advertiser’s message at least 7 times before they’ll take action to buy that product or service."


And the best way to follow up with your prospects is through email.


For some network marketers, email marketing may seem archaic. 


After all, there is social media! Why would you use the “old” format of email? 


However, the reality is that email remains one of the most powerful and thoroughly understood “modern” forms of communication. 


Think about it. Just about every social media platform requires you to have an email.


For direct sellers, email lists can yield dramatic rewards. 


“According to Direct Marketing Association, email marketing on average sees a 4,300 percent return on investment (ROI) for businesses in the US.” - OptinMonster.com


Can you say that about your social media efforts?

I've seen direct sellers proclaim that "email marketing doesn't work," but that simply isn't true. 


If you're struggling to get results with your email marketing, it's probably because of 1 of 2 reasons. 


  1. You're not sending emails your audience wants to read, or...
  2. You haven't been consistent enough for long enough


To see results, you want to get really clear on what the pain points are of your target audience, and provide them the solutions to those pain points in your emails. 


And be consistent!
