8 Reasons CEO's & Execs Shouldn't Go to The Gym…

8 Reasons CEO's & Execs Shouldn't Go to The Gym…

1. You don't want to have too much energy to get more done in less time

If you get too much done, there'll be nothing left to do and no one wants to be less busy or too efficient. Also, I heard some study said that too much stored up energy can attract lightening from thunder storms and no one wants that. Better keep energy down to snail pace to be safe.

2. "I haven't got any medical issues"

It's always better to be reactive than proactive in business I always say - same for health. Why exercise to deal with a bunch of health problems you don't have yet?

Pffft, hell with that. Wait for the Dr. to give you some bad news or until you get chest pains before doing anything. At least you know what you're dealing with then.

For now, work yourself to the bone, and forget everything else in life.

3. You don't want to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger

Better not step foot near the gym if this is a serious worry, you might put on too much muscle mass too quickly before realising what's happened.

4. You don't want to be too strong

Strength isn't any good for non-health enthusiasts anyway. Plus there's no point picking yourself up off the ground when you fall over at 68. Someone else can find you and pick you up.

5. Someone else succesful somewhere doesn't go

Follow the path of others, you don't need to make your own decisions about what's good for you. Do what worked for them.

6. You don't want your kids to follow suit

Always remember this rule: Monkey see, monkey do.

Better not go near the gym or exercise if your job is to protect your kids from valuing ridiculous habits and things like exercise or going to the gym.

7. You went once and hired a PT but it failed to accomplish your goal

If you failed once, you'll always fail at it. Once you've tried, there's no point setting new goals and different approaches or working with someone else - they're all the same.

Plus, who wants to feel bad about failing again!?

8. Netflix is better & cheaper

Always take into consideration this rule for life: Easy today, hard tomorrow. Hard today, easy tomorrow.

Who want's to do hard things today when you can put them off to deal with in bulk tomorrow? No one, right. So, sit back at the end of gruelling work day, slide your slippers on, grab your dressing gown, and relax while falling asleep in front of Netflix. Leave your problems until tomorrow.
