The 8 qualities of a Great Leader!

When you think of the following question "What are for you the top 8 qualities of a Great Leader?". What do you believe are these qualities!

Over a year ago I noticed this post about this topic, only it where not 8 but only 7 qualities. When I started to think about it, I realized this list was incomplete. The question was, what was missing from the list?

So I asked myself the simple question, "What is missing here, actually when you look at the picture underneath it was not that difficult to find out.

Explaining the puzzle pieces

Each of the existing seven puzzle pieces has an individual meaning. Each one explains a little bit about the Great Leader and what we want to see back in her/him.

Inspire

They inspire their employees, by helping them grow based on their request and need!

Grow

We teach them how to find the deeper meaning of ourselves. They help develop their existing and new skills.

Develop

Developing skills together, not demanding by listening. He helps to improve and innovate to grow in all knowledge.

Improve & Innovate

Be part of your team, and innovate with one goal only. Improving your team, to be lead!

Explore

Explore new methodologies and methods to learn and educate. Explore to grow and build.

Care

Be a good father, care for your team like you would take good care of your own children.

Lead & Execute

You are the lead, show it, prove it by leading and executing. Even when the task is hard, be the Leader!

So what do we miss?

I went several times over these seven qualities over and over again, I knew one thing. To be able to be the leader of a team and not a boss, I had to add the core quality, the missing element of the true Leader.

So yes, you can have all of these amazing seven qualities, only when you miss the core, the heart the soul of this all, it never will work out.

Being Humble

The core element is Humble.

Be Humble, in all your moves as a person and Leader. You are the inspiration for your family, friends, and employees, they want to learn, grow and so much more.

So what does Humble mean in our Urban world?

• To be kind and honest, show equality to others,
• An admirable quality that not many people possess. It means that a person may have accomplished a lot, or be a lot but doesn't feel it is necessary to advertise or brag about it.

So yes, being Humble is the missing element in the circle to be the Great Leader.
