1. Lesser Requirements!
Not all users have the same kind of #mobile/ device or deal with same #platform, or will even think of changing their phone just to try your app! You cannot take the risk of losing potential customers just because the specifications of their devices do not go well with your #application. So, it’s good to develop an app with lower specification, that works on different platforms (Android, iPhone, Windows), and provide accessibility on different devices with responsive design, and thus allow the customers to have a heavenly experience.
2. Quick Loading!
When you are #designing an app, always keep in mind that you are not the only one in this business; there’re thousands of apps serving the same features your app would. So, make your app’s loading time so lesser that users need not to wait or even think of switching to some other app.It is considered that a mobile app must not take more than 10 seconds to load (best time is in between 4 to 6 seconds). When your #app is quick, people are able to perform the task without testing their patience, and this can really improve the chances of getting your app a great success!
3. Keep it Simple!
As a developer, you might be tempting to provide million of features in a single mobile app, but this won’t be a good option from the users point of view. When planning to design an app, do not neglect the fact that the users won’t keep a guidebook with them while using the app. Also, not all would be tech-savvy!A user loses interest in an app if he/she does not find relevant information within 15 seconds. So, make your app so simple and easy-to-use that even a 10-years-old can use it without any assistance. Neglect the unnecessary features, just include the main features.
4. Social Media Connectivity!
Integrating your app with social networks like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram is no wonder a great trick to make people like your app. This feature has two advantages:- Firstly, it would be easy for them to sign in your app through social media account than creating a new account, entering the password, and so on. Secondly, they can share about their experience with the app on the social platforms, which would promote your application.
5. Less Typing, More Touch!
If your app demand more and more typing, the user would definitely get frustrated and leave your app. You can not take a chance of putting a full stop on your mobile application usage. Remember you only have a short window to keep them hooked. So, implement the concept of less typing and more touch in your app. Ask for relevant information only, and make the app more accessible with a few touches!
6. Security!
This is a vital issue. No user would ever like to get their personal information leaked. So, make it certain your application ask for necessary details only, and provides them the assurity that their personal information is safe with you!
7. Feedback Option!
The best way to find if your mobile app is ‘up to the mark’ or not is to allow the users to give their feedback. Customers feel great if they are able to report their concerns, appreciate your efforts and provide suggestions that can be well used in the next update. This builds a long lasting relationship between the customer and the company, which is after all the main motive of making the mobile application.
8. Work Offline!
Users hate to not being able to take the perks of a mobile app just because of weak signal or no internet connection. In such a situation, you can make them rely only & only on your app by providing them offline accessibility as well.
So, consider these points while developing the app
