8 Highly Value-Adding Free Websites I Regularly Use
I am not an explorer when using new websites and apps. I have a few websites/ apps that I keep using and rarely use others. Today I will share some free websites that have helped me increase my productivity over the last few years.
1. PDF24 Tools – Easy PDF Management
PD24 Tools is a lifesaver when dealing with PDFs. Whether I need to merge, split, compress, or convert a file, this site offers a hassle-free way to handle documents.
2. Unsplash – High-Quality Free Images
For blog posts, I use Unsplash’s vast collection of high-quality, royalty-free images. Unsplash allows unlimited downloads which help me explore an extensive photo collection.
3. Untools – Mental Models for Better Thinking
It’s an interesting site that I mostly use to learn about different types of decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic thinking models. This site provides a structured way to approach complex problems.
4. Darebee – Free Home Workouts
I have never been a fitness enthusiast person. My lack of interest in improving my physical health has caused me a lot of trouble. Since last year, I have been trying to be more aware of my physical and mental health. If you focus on home workouts, Darebee can be a great tool to stay on track with fitness goals.
5. Typelit – Improve Typing Skills
If you want to improve your typing speed while reading classic literature, Typelit is a fun and effective way to do both. The site lets you type out books like Pride and Prejudice or Moby-Dick, making the learning process engaging. I have not seen any other site that offers such an opportunity.
6. Hemingway Editor – Write Clearly and Concisely
The Hemingway Editor is an excellent tool to improve the clarity and readability of our writeups. It is a great tool to bring more clarity and sharpness to our writing.
7. 12ft – Read Paywalled Articles
12ft helps bypass paywalls and allows access to valuable content without a subscription. While it doesn’t work for all sites, it’s a handy tool for industry insights.
8. Goodreads – Track and Discover Books
As a bookworm, Goodreads has been a trusted friend for me since 2016. It helps me organize my reading list and keeps me accountable for my reading goals each year.
I would love to hear about the websites/apps you use that you find highly value-adding.
