8 Glasses of Water/Day Water Intoxication?

8 Glasses of Water/Day Water Intoxication?

I don’t follow this advice,  I  admit.

Let’s examine…Animals don’t drink tons  of water or eat tons  of food. They eat when they are hungry and drink when they are thirsty. Humans don’t need extra either. Listen to our body. What we need is a moderate amount.

O.K. we have  developed a  symptom  not  covered  by too much water, but  too few  minerals. We live in a sodium–phobic society  so it is likely there is  imbalance of electrolytes. Not by fault of water, but  faulty  diet. It’s a big  difference. Accordingly, to the best  of my recollection, water  consumed  each  day goes  to kidney..60%, sweat..24%, lungs 12%...and 4 % to intestinal track.

When you are thirsty  you are  dehydrated.

So  now… to  hydrate,   note  this……Take  your total body weight  divide  by  two. That  result  in ounces is what you need to drink  everyday along  with quarter  tea spoon of sea salt with each quart  of water. Now you have  your  electrolytes.

Caution… if you take any diuretics… soda,  coffee,  alcohol, commercial  fruit juices, will  affect your  water. So in my opinion, too many physicians haven’t connected the  rest  of the dots to advise  8- glass of  water per  day. Salts  are hygroscopic. Body salts  draw  water and when you are dehydrated,  water leaves  the brain, heart, kidneys, and multiple damage to other organs….you  going  to receive  warning  alerts from  your body.

Remember  water must  contain… sodium, potassium, magnesium, carbon dioxide, like that from a mountain stream. Healthy  saturated fats, proteins and  simple  sugars make hydrophilic  conductive  to a rocky  battery . Keep it  charged. Preserve  cell  molecules  against oxidation  and move  oxygen in and water out.

These  are the factors to consider in a day to day living.

Fish get  sick and die if you don’t change the water in the aquarium. Your body is no different.

Finally, please…please…no  plastic  bottled  water. Your body can process 1 liter of water/hour at room temperature. (Assuming  you have healthy  kidneys ). You have to drink  large  amount before water  intoxication  happens.

Most  people are  suffering from  too little  rather  than  too  much.

CHEERS…..HERE’S  TO  YOUR  HEALTH.
