8 excuses to be avoided that will make life more amazing.

8 excuses to be avoided that will make life more amazing.

I am amazed at how many so called “influencers” post videos about "lacking motivation" and insist motivation isn't sustainable.

I understand some are “attempting” to appear relatable, but the purpose of being "impactful" is to overcome the obstacles most people struggle with, then offer insight into how to improve our relationship with essential life skills, like motivation.

True success is defeating many of the hurdles most people continuously battle with.

Our goal is to develop a mindset that doesn't agonize about getting up early each day.?That can’t relate to somebody who isn’t excited about big challenges. To work hard, honor our commitments, be dedicated, driven, filled with desire, passion and purpose and make those things part of our daily routine.

Successful people obliterate excuses perfect the art of motivation until it flows effortlessly through their veins.

Yes, motivation can be sustainable, and we can be highly motivated every day! It's a choice.

“Make an effort, not an excuse.”?

Here are 8 excuses that frequently prevent people from achieving their goals:?

No time

I hear this excuse often and its invalid.?Make time for the things that matter most.?Evaluate how much time we are wasting doing unproductive things.?Eliminate those things and make time for more import priorities.?It’s that simple.

No money

This is something I hear from entrepreneurs often.?I don’t have the resources.?Great, learn how to sell and put some skin in the game.?I started my business at age 21 by borrowing from my credit card.?I made selling top priority, which provided the resources for growing my business.?Having no money is no excuse.?

No energy

Lack of energy is the product of poor mental and physical health.?That can be fixed but requires tremendous effort.?We make energy by learning to crave abundance.?When we make mental and physical health top priority, our energy improves.

No advantage

This is the flavor of our current time.?People that lack advantage or privilege.?Consider yourself lucky.?It’s better to be the underdog and have to work for every inch of opportunity we get.?It keeps us hungry and humble. I know plenty of trust fund brats that could screw up a frozen pie.?If you live in a free country, there’s no shortage of opportunities to improve our situation.?Bad choices, lack of effort, discipline and lame excuses are often holding us back.?So are lame politicians telling us permission is required for us to succeed. I am telling you, that's nonsense. Don't let the rhetoric of limitation restrict you.

“Make excuses or make changes. The choice is yours.”

No support

That’s awesome!?Prove everyone that doesn’t believe in you wrong.?We are fortunate if we have a few close friends in life.?Most people will celebrate our failure and even our "friends" will be jealous of our accomplishments.?Genuine support is rare so waiting for people to pull us over the finish line is an effort in futility.?Lacking support is no excuse for not being successful. Learn to be your own support system.?

No motivation

Most people rely on external motivation.?They constantly seek motivation outside themselves to find the enthusiasm to get things done.?Learn to create our own motivation and we won’t have manufacture it artificially by relying on other people to provide the inertia necessary for positive momentum.?

No confidence

Fear of failure prevents many people from getting started, and that often begins with social comparisons.?The combination can destroy self-confidence and lead to paralysis.?Mistakes and setbacks are inevitable.?Learn to embrace the growth mindset and avoid social comparisons.?Build better confidence! Day by day.??

No goals

Without specific goals, productivity and progress are left to chance.?Never rely on willpower to offer the inspiration necessary to get things done.?Be specific about our goals and make time to ensure they get done.?Step by step.

“If it is important to you find a way. If not, you will find an excuse.”
