7th Apache OFBiz Bug Crush Event at HotWax Systems

It was again a day for HotWax Systems team to do some community work together to do continuous improvement to Apache OFBiz on February 21 2015. Team calls it "OFBiz Bug Crush Event". From company point of view its one of the best way to say thanks to the amazing OFBiz community we are part of.

HotWax Team started doing such events every month from August 2014, and continued it. We used to pick third Saturday of every month for it and last event was the 7th. This is one of great way to bring all possibly available company people from billable projects together to work on OFBIz and benefit the project.

To make it a fun day for everyone volunteers are invited to conduct other various fun events like- games, music and cooking along with bug crushing. All the events are planned and executed by HotWax team members only. It demonstrates a great example of team work. On this 7th event day company people are not only served self cooked delicious food but also we had a rocking musical night after the completion of bug crush event. Its also one of the best way to offer platform to the team members to show their creativity in various areas like cooking and music. Believe me we have some pro DJs available in-house who operates company owned DJ system.

We not only define food menu prior to the event we also prepare issue menu for bug crush. Here is the giant list of bugs we have put together to work on. We pick as many issues as possible from this list in our one day event based on participant count.
