DYNAMIC PRICING IS NOT AUTOMATED DISCOUNTING
"Competitive pricing" or "dynamic pricing" is not automated discounting - quite the contrary! ??
It's the smartest & probably easiest way to uplift profit margins in today's competitive e-commerce market by:
1- Identifying products/brands where a merchant is underpricing themselves and leaving a ton of margin on the table,
2- Dynamically increasing prices for those products while achieving both profitability & competitiveness.
As shown in the example above, our Shopify dynamic pricing app increased the price of our merchant according to its competitors' prices while still keeping them at a very competitive level, i.e., the best price in the market.
(Fun fact: Price increases make the majority of the automated price changes our engine makes - outweighing the price decreases, i.e. discounts!)
