In this year; the founding anniversary is considered a pivotal in the framework of evaluating the path of the party's performance over seventy-five years that full of great events and serious and qualitative changes. The question that must be asked relates to how the party managed its movement throughout these stages and continued to maintain the most important role, and the first mover in the history of #Syria , in addition to its clear impact on the entire Arab reality.

Most parties either isolate themselves from the objective movement of reality, framing themselves in rigid ideological frameworks (demagogy), or they submit to reality and abandon their principles according to pragmatic and vulgar frameworks. In both cases, the party’s influence on the movement of history is lost. As for the Ba`ath Party, it possessed structural features that strengthened its ability to continue; which are:

? The most important feature of the Ba`ath is its possession of the ability to self-development according to the requirements of each stage, by controlling the matters and remaining its general principles. The Self-development is the basis for developing the reality around us, because no static thought can affect a flexible and moving reality, as the party was able to develop its performance with its steadfast adherence to the major issues of its nation, such as the issue of Palestine, the liberation of the Golan and confronting #Zionism , as well as emphasizing Arabism as a cultural and historical inclusive for all who live on the #Arab land…

? The second feature; is the emergence of two historical leaders from the ranks of the Party, the founding leader Hafez al-#Assad and the leader of the great confrontation in the face of the most notorious and most terrorist wars, the leader of the development and modernization process, the Secretary-General of the party, his excellency President Bashar al-#Assad …

? The third feature; is that it is the party that contributed with its people in building an ideological army that protected the homeland, and its performance in the face of the most brutal war, the miraculous performance that became a school for other armies at all levels…

? The fourth feature; the Party is the only one in the world that sacrificed itself in order to achieve its goals when it agreed to dissolve its organization in Syria in order to achieve Arab unity during the establishment of the United Arab Republic between Syria and #Egypt (1958-1961). With its belief that the most dangerous thing facing the unit was the prevention of the mass party movement, which was the only movement that was able to protect it…

? The fifth feature; the Party is the only one in the world that sacrificed an important part of its authority through the participation of other parties in order to consolidate national unity. During the call for the establishment of the National Progressive Front in the early seventies, the party was in its strongest state to monopolize the power. However, it took the initiative to establish a national unity as it is one of the most important factors of Syria's strength, where it negotiated with other parties to establish the front. It is the only party in the world that participates in the formation of the government with other parties and independents, although about 56% of the seats in the legislature belong to the party…

? The sixth feature; is its ability to combine the advantages of the mass party with wide membership and the cadre party based on the quality of membership. And based on the directives of its Secretary General, the party was able to form a distinguished cadre while maintaining its broad masses…

These features have strengthened the party’s ability to survive at a time when major parties in the #East and #West are declining and collapsing, and parties fail to lead the popular movement in major European countries, not to mention the collapse of the communist parties in #Eastern_Europe .

These advantages are not only important for protecting 75 years of performance, but rather they are the basis of confidence in continuing in the present and in the future at a stage that is undoubtedly is the most difficult stages in contemporary history.
