71 PARK STREET PROGRESS UPDATE

As many of you will know, or have seen if you’ve visited Park Street, Urban Creation have started the mass project at No. 71 to turn the property into a downstairs retail space and upstairs student accommodation.

We’re excited to share an update on this substantial project. Our vision to convert the existing space into a ground-floor retail area with contemporary student accommodations above is underway.

The ground floor is being reimagined into a commercial space, while the upper levels will home 17 modern apartments alongside communal areas for student residents.

We’ve begun the strip-out process and groundwork of the lower ground floor. All floor slabs have been removed, and 31 Odex piles have been installed. Additionally, drainage has been fully completed.

Pile caps and ground beams are now 80% finished, with reinforcement bars set for the concrete wall. Temporary propping has been installed to ensure structural integrity.

Once the ground floor work is complete, attention will turn to the removal of the rear building and the piling of the upper structure. Not to get ahead of ourselves, it’s a large project, but we are committed to maintaining our momentum.

So far, our sub-structures are working nicely, and the project is up and running!
