70 Books Read So Far in 2023

Every year, I try to read 52 books, and most years, I make it happen. In recent years, I’ve also been proud to state that I’ve made it to 100.

With two young kids at home, I did not anticipate this year being a record-breaking one. However, with a teething infant, and a toddler who wakes often from nightmares, I find myself awake with one or both of them often throughout the night, and it is my Kindle I turn to.?

I am proud to state that as of today, I have read 70 books in 2023, and am on track to surpass my record of total books read in a year.

Rather than wait until 2024 to share my year in books, I thought I would do a mid-year wrap-up to share my favorites, and seek recommendations as I aim to read another 30+ before the year is up!

I just finished book 63, and there are a lot on your list I haven't read yet! I would recommend The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab, The Making of Another Motion Picture Masterpiece by Tom Hanks, and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.
