7 WITTY BENEFITS OF WALKING

                        

Regular walking can be beneficial in many aspects. There are a lot many reasons that I am fond of walking-

1)     It keeps your buttocks engaged with the world-

There is a saying that excessive sitting causes glut inactive and atrophy. This may be true, but it’s not likely to be standing enough most of the times to keep yourself strong. One needs to walk and walk very often to remain active all the time.

2)     Walking reduces body fat-

Walking isn’t going to get you shredded, ripped or cut. Walking frequently enables proper functioning of knee, legs, hips and all other hinges of your body.  Going for a walk in the woods is a sure fire way to lower cortisol.

3)     It improves digestion-

Walking helps in improving digestion as it helps to settle down the eatables. It also reduces stress. Try going for a walk in the vegetative propagation. It always feels good to be in a lap of nature.

4)     It improves BP and boosts immunity-

A meter walk increases killer T cells and other markers of immune function. Higher daily step counts correlate with improved mucosal immunity.

5)     Walking in morning gives you time to think-

Whether you walk in morning or evening, it gives you time to think and plan for the whole day/ or upcoming day. When you walk in a park surrounded by greenery, you tend to get more oxygen than usual. Indeed it is good for health for a long run.

6)     It is a kind of meditation-

Walking alone in a park helps you think more and plan your day in advance and keeps you systematic with a calm mind.

7)     It is good for brain and prevents falls in the elderly-

Walking on uneven, natural ground like hiking trails, improves balance and reduces falls in the elderly. When an elderly try to walk with the help of a walker or on a treadmills as briskly as they can handle do not appear to work very well. Do not wait until you are already at a risk of falling, though. The earlier you start habitually walking at the very early stage, the better your immunity will be and the better your ability to navigate the land without falling will be.
