?Just say it! Speak up! Everything else just flows when you take a first step in interacting with a stranger. Just a simple “Hi” opens the web of conversation.
?2. SKIP THE SMALL TALK
Try to make small conversations memorable. Ask personal questions to make conversations personalized. People are willing to share but need that kickstart from someone to help them open. For eg. Where do you come from? Where does your family stay? Ask simple questions. Simple head start with a “hello” can even end with a business or even marriage proposal based on the context of your communication.
?3. FIND THE MEE-TOOS
Try to find at least one thing that you and other person have common interest in. Start from that point and move outward from there. This can set the stage for the conversation.
?4. PAY A UNIQUE COMPLIMENT
?Be genuine about what you compliment the other person for. People never forget how you make them feel. That’s a common human tendency.
?5. ASK FOR AN OPINION

?Everyone has opinion, and everyone want that to be heard. Ask opinion about something generic and interesting. This is when you open up a two-way street and then the real communication begins.
?6. BE PRESENT
?Don’t listen to reply. Listen to listen. Be wholeheartedly present in the conversation and ensure eye contact to make it productive. Pay attention to what another person is saying and be responsive.
7. NAME, PLACE, ANIMAL, THNG
?Always remember someone’s name and say it back to them when you meet again. Make people feel important. It could also be about remembering something personal like their wife’s name, pet’s name, hobbies, favorite place etc.
?ANALOGY ABOUT “CONVERSATION”
?Conversation is like reading a book. You can turn to any page you want; you can flip to your favorite chapter, you can read as long as you want, you can read what you want. Every person is a good book.?
