7 ways to boost your productivity
The practical way to stay sane in these challenging times.
You do not want to leave your bed all day, you can not focus on your goals, yet you are waiting for a miracle to happen. You are always thinking about being successful one day or starting that blog you always wanted to but you just don't feel enough motivated to do that.
I know this feeling all too well and the guilt?of not doing anything about it just makes it worse. You may often hear a voice from the back of your head saying, “You need to be working right now", "scrolling through Instagram is gonna get you nowhere!”
You may think that you have lost all your energy to work but believe me it is there somewhere hiding behind all those excuses. You want to reach your goals so bad but your excuses overweigh your motivation to work towards them.
When you enter the zone of productivity, getting all your tasks done gives you so much pleasure and happiness. That dopamine rush you get when you are being productive is what you need to stay sane and motivated throughout the day.
what is being successful?
Being successful is not at all linked with intelligence. We have seen people more intelligent than anybody else in the room who aren’t near to being successful… and then mediocre who becomes extremely successful.
What I believe to be the difference between these two is their attitude. Your attitude towards your goals and dreams will tell you if you are to be successful or not.
How can you boost your productivity?
There is no one 100% effective way that you can use to accelerate your productivity, a lot of things can affect it but you try some to see what works for you.
1. Always make your to-do list the night before
When you write down your tasks for the day a night before, you are?mentally?preparing yourself to finish them. You wake up knowing exactly what you need to do and when you need to do it.
I prefer writing down my?to-do list rather than making it on my phone or computer. It makes it so much easier and the feeling of accomplishment when you put a cross on the tasks that you've completed is immense!
2. Unplug in the morning
I have stopped checking my phone first thing in the morning because if I start my day in bed scrolling through social media, I feel so tired and more prone to distractions the whole day.
When you wake up in the morning you are so much energized and motivated towards your tasks for that day, but once you pick your phone to check the notifications, one thing leads to another, and the next thing you know is hours have passed and you're still in your bed.
It's been six months that I have stopped using my phone in the morning and I can say I haven't been more productive in the morning.

3. Write down your goals
If you want to succeed you need to identify your goals. Once you have your goals in mind, you need to write them down. Writing down your goals is as important as accomplishing them because once they are out of sight they will be out of mind!
Your goals are your steps towards success. So, take your time in carefully identifying them.
4. Plan out your strategies to reach those goals
When you know what your goals are and what you want to achieve in life, you can think of all the possible hurdles you will be facing in your journey towards that goal.
Acting without planning is one of the root causes of failures. Failures aren’t bad but you have to work smart. Make a step-by-step action plan to reach your?destination. If your plan doesn't work; change it, improvise it, but never change the goal.
A goal without a plan is just a dream!
5. Become an optimist
On your journey to success, you will be failing a lot. But you have to adopt the mindset of an optimist. Handling failures like a pro and always learning from them. You have to believe that everything that comes your way is to prepare you for the best.
Positive thoughts?always lead you to positive actions and those actions make you closer to your goals.
6. Visualize your success
There is so much?power in visualizing. When you visualize your goals and your success you are more capable of achieving them.
If you can see it, you can achieve it.
7. Reflect on your goals every night
Reflecting on your goals and repeating them every night before bed, has an extremely positive effect on our subconscious mind.
When we go to sleep thinking of our goals and visualizing our success daily, our subconscious mind generates harmonic vibrations that will make us act towards our goals. This is called the?law of attraction,?which proves that we can attract success towards ourselves.
Lastly,
Success?isn’t overnight. You have to work for it and as much as it seems impossible to get, it is not. You only have to adopt the right attitude and strategies to reach your destination.
Failure is only the beginning of a new level of your journey. You learn so much by failing than by succeeding in the first attempt. So, embrace failure and never be scared of it cause it's only the beginning!
