7 Top Tips To Achieve Your Goals

To achieve your goals in life you need to stay motivated. Here are some of my top tips to help you to stay focused and get the results that you want and need……

  1. Get Clear! Write your goals down and then set a time-frame in which you want to achieve them. It is YOUR life, dream big and set goals that help you to achieve those dreams.
  2. Establish The Why! Dig deep and find the why behind every goal and write it down. You could write down how you’ll feel if you don’t achieve it. Then when your motivation is flagging your can read the two feelings and ask yourself which you want to feel.
  3. Know Yourself! If you know that you work better in the evening then do the work that gets you goal focused then. But if you know you will be distracted by the tv or your phone in the evening and then end up going to bed late, focus your efforts in the daytime.
  4. Get Planning! Reflect back on the last week, I find that a Sunday evening is a good time to do this. Look at how many times you exercised, ate healthy or accomplished a task on time and work out how you can either maintain or improve on that for the week ahead. Review what worked and also what didn’t to improve your plans to achieve.
  5. Visualise Success! Imagine you are already living the life you want. Visualise yourself living it. Act ‘as if’. You have every right to live the life you want, you just need to work out the steps needed in order to achieve it. You can also create a vision board to keep your goals in the forefront of your mind.
  6. Be Grateful! Make sure you appreciate what you have. Only by being grateful can you be ready to receive more in your life. At the start of the day, or week, write down 3 things you are grateful for and at the end of it think of all the positive things that day  or week brought. You will go to bed feeling happy and looking forward to the morning.
  7. Make Decisions! Don’t put things off. Decide to act now to go after what you want.
