My 7 Tips to pass PMP, RMP, and ACP exams.
Sharing my 7 tips to our LinkedIn community on how I passed the PMP exam in two weeks, PMI-RMP in one week, and PMI-ACP in two weeks, with an above target score at the cost of $83.98.
Here's what I did:
Tip 1: I used two Udemy classes, one with Joseph Phillips $9.99, and one with Sayed Mohsen for PMI-RMP $9.99, and the PMI-ACP Exam Prep book by Mike Griffiths $64.
Tip 2: Read the PMBOK guide.
Tip 3: Understand the processes and their sequences. This will help you solve the scenario questions.
Trip 4: Memorize the ITTO. By memorizing the tools and techniques, during the exam you’ll be able to determine which process you are in, and this will help you solve "what comes next" scenario questions.
Tip 5: The exam is designed to waste your time. Most questions are asked in the last statement. Don’t waste time reading the entire question. Read the last statement and see if you can answer the question, and look for keywords (i.e. if you read "Relative weighting", then the answer is AHP tool). Don't bother reading the rest of the exam.
Tip 6: Don’t waste time creating a brain dump for the exam. In the first pass, answer everything you can, and mark what you don’t know. Then take a second pass, and go through the marked questions.
Tip 7: Don’t buy practice exams with their promises of a guaranteed pass. They are not realistic examples of the actual exams, and can lead to false confidence.
