Harnessing the power of your mind is the key to success.
An individual's #mind, attitude and view of the world determines their experiences, results, and achievements in life.
Anyone who knows me will be aware of the fact that I am an advocate of a more effortless approach to audacious achievements; you simply cannot reach next level at an accelerated pace nor make a quantum leap by working 10 x harder.
I have my own recipe for success and it does not entail working harder. Here are some insights that give you an indication of how to look at success differently:
1.Set aspirational goals that you have no idea how to achieve at the outset: Identify what you want to achieve - not what you know you probably could achieve if you work a little harder. Do not get caught up with the narrative of 'But how....'. The path will unfold. I often have people asking me why I don't suggest people set 'realistic' and 'achievable' goals - what I say to this is to echo Will Smith's words: 'Being realistic is the most common path to mediocrity'.
2. Follow your inner guidance: We all know what a 'gut feel' is - as you focus on what you want, you will be amazed at the ideas that start to come into your mind as if from nowhere. Your mind is more powerful than you could ever comprehend.
3. Stay focused: Keep your mind focused on what you want, not where you've been, where you could go, where other people think you should aim or any other such variations of this theme.
4. Keep learning and understanding who you are: Know thyself.

5. Take care of your physical health: When we are healthy and well we want many things; when we are unwell we want only one. Remember this.
6. Tenacity: Feedback is not fact - it's perspective. YOU decide if that feedback is something you need to accept and address; but know that you also have the choice to reject it.
