1. Dial a Friend or Sniff Some Paws
Reach out to someone who makes you smile. Whether it’s a quick call to a friend, or a family member, or even your work bestie, a little conversation goes a long way. If you're not feeling very social, we suggest spending time with your furry friend. Experts (I'm the expert) suggests sniffing some paws for an instant mood boost.
2. Get Moving
Stand up, stretch, or take a short walk. Physical activity is a great way to destress and can shift your perspective with just a few steps.
3. Take A (deep) Breather
If you're feeling overwhelmed, try out this breathing technique that could help calm your nerves. Take a deep breath, hold it, let it out slowly. Do this over a couple of times.
4. Screen Break
Take a digital detox. Just a few minutes without screens can help you regain focus and reduce stress. My mama always said, "don't go on Instagram when you're sad" and she's absolutely right.
5. Little Joys
Indulge in small pleasures—your favorite song, a delicious treat, or a chapter in your favorite book. These little acts of happiness can provide a big emotional lift when you're feeling low.
