Tip #5 — Say No to Ultra-Processed Foods

According to this article posted by Harvard Health Publishing, there is an increased risk in cognitive impairment and stroke by eating ultra-processed foods (UPFs). Avoid eating UPFs, which include chips, sodas, industrial breads, and more. Instead your diet should be comprised of unprocessed or minimally processed foods, such as whole fruits and vegetables, nuts and beans, and whole grains.
