7 Things I love about my work with Women in Business (and why you'll love them too)

So it's Valentine's day - or so we've been told. And while I'm definitely not one to be dictated to about how I should feel on any day of any week - I do find myself with all the feels today. I am truly blessed in so many areas and want to continue to ensure that I use my counting for my blessings rather than other things.

So in today's special Valentine's day episode of our #SaturdayServing on a Sunday, I'm sharing 7 things I love about the work that I do and reasons why you'll love them too (for your business and mine)

?? 1. I love that it's designed for Women

Now if you've ever heard me speak about why I do the work that I do... then you will have heard me talk about the fact that I've spent a lot of time learning from the best and the brightest in the industry - and so much of what I experienced was designed by men for men.

And while that's definitely true - I think it might be too harshly expressed - because it was designed by men, but without women in mind. Not accounting for the myriad of things that are always on our plate alongside building or running a business. Or the 'wife at home' effect that so many of these guys have in play, making their lives easier, wrangling the children and other challenges just to make sure they have all the time in the world for their systems to work.

But all the time in the world isn't true for the life of a woman. Even with help, cleaners, childcare, housekeepers, VAs, PAs - there's always mental real estate that society gives as a gift with oestrogen...

So my work accounts for that.

My daily emails celebrate the quirks and foibles that come from being a woman wanting to run a business - and does so unapologetically too.

I love that my solutions are designed with women in mind, and work without the 'wife at home' factor that most women don't have access to, to make it work.

Intentionality around your ideal client is such a powerful tool and increases the chance of success because it's focused on the specific needs of those I wish to help most.

?? 2. I love that it changes the narrative

Yep - so women have less time to work on their businesses, that's a fact. And yet to me, that doesn't mean disadvantage at all.

With the 80/20 rule explaining that 80% of your results come from just 20% of your actions and time... I feel so strongly that the reduced time women have to spend is a real advantage, and a call to reduce WASTE of time and not to engage in meaningless and vanity focused busy work

We know the stats about capital, time, pay, money - and yet I feel really passionately that none of these are a disadvantage in the traditional sense.

You only need 2 things to have anything you want in this world -
Resources and Resourcefulness...
(one of mine)

Given that women are traditionally given access to less 'resources' than their male counterparts, it merely means that we make up the gap between our desires and our resources with our resourcefulness.

Something that we are uniquely equipped to do given our neurological centring on people, our whole brained approach to consideration and our ability to gather, collaborate and stretch a pound to make it look like 10.

I truly believe that suffering is optional, even though pain is inevitable - so the minute I stopped comparing what I had my hands on to what a white man could access, and began realising that my resourcefulness could more than make up for the difference - It became pretty evident to me that nothing was outside of my reach... I owned my 'Possibilitarian' identity, and I never looked back.

It's why no dream is unachievable, no matter how big or scary - it's all a simple calculation between resources and resourcefulness, and I love that I'm the one leading and supporting women to make it happen

?? 3. I love that it starts with a plan

Plans are amazing...

They're what turns a pile of bricks into cathedrals.

Days into a life worth living

And yet it's not lost on me that nothing about a plan actually works in the ways that we think they do... Nothing goes according to plan.

But that's part of being a grown up and why I'm incredibly insistent through the use of my 'Holistic success method' to make exciting and inspiring plans for women in business to make power moves now, but also build powerfully for the future.

My 6P approach gives power, infuses possibility and inspires women to dream bigger and work smarter, own their desires and define success on their own terms. It makes the community I'm building one of my favourite places to be... infused with hope, rigour, success and nurture... all as standard!

We plan our work, and then we work our plan.

?? 4. I love that it's focused on impact

Yep - we work out what success means... and then we look at what moves the needle most effectively in those areas.

That's it. Not likes, not comments, not hours spent...

IMPACT.

And given that we don't control the outputs - we focus on clocking up those inputs and gaining success on consistent focus of those inputs... to generate the outputs that we want.

?? 5. I love that it makes crazy big dreams achievable

Our burgeoning community has some crazy dreams.

And yet - rather than say 'don't be daft', or that's impossible...

We're going for it too. We're here to make an impact in this world and will not take no for an answer on it at all.

Because we focus on intentionality, small consistent actions, routines, plans and systems to achieve our wildest goals... and do so with the time that we have!

?? 6. I love that it really is holistic

I always wanted to create a space that cared for the whole human... and that's what I have.

I believe in the power of mindsets - but I also know that it's not enough to make the changes that you want in your life (I often say that if it were, we would just be giant brains walking around) - but we're not, we are whole people and so our other sets need to be accounted for.

It's the reason why when an incredible business woman came to me to ask about putting up her prices, we began to talk about self worth and self awareness.

Because THAT's what makes a difference when it comes to making sustainable changes in that area of your business.

Not just a website update. You need to charge it, so you need to be able to say it without flinching... updating your numbers on your brochure won't solve that.

I love that my Masterclasses go back to first principles and definitions, so that you can get to the real heart of things that will make a difference in all areas of your life.

I love that we're focused on making things better in all areas, not just your business and that it changes the game for it all... all while making serious difference to your bottom line.

There is no choice between your health and your wealth, between your money and your life. You get to have whatever 'all' you want! And by investing in people.

?? 7. I love that you can only get them here

Call me vain - but I've seen a lot of solutions... and if they worked, I would offer them. But 9/10 times I identified something better, and that's the reason why I decided to develop my own...

All in all, I'm so grateful for the business that I'm building because of the impact that I'm making in the lives of women around the world. But most importantly, it's giving me the chance to build a legacy far beyond my time here, and change things here fore the better, and that's the greatest gift I could have.

Such great points Yinka. Especially the resourcefulness discussion, and also that they can’t compare your offers/services because it doesn’t exist anywhere. In a class of 1. So powerful. I love that my work teaches women how to leverage their body shape and style to attract the opportunities they want, to live the lives they chose. After working with me they are equipped to do it themselves. The transformation in their style gives them the confidence to show up powerfully in their lives. Their energy shifts and the game changes.
