When many of us think of Minneapolis we think of Prince. While Prince’s private estate is a definite highlight of the city (and one you’ll be able to enjoy first-hand when you attend the Reaching Millions Leadership & Business Development Conference) there are other highlights you won’t want to miss during your time in the Twin Cities. Here is a list of some of them.
If you like music…take a tour of Paisley Park. Prince, one of Minneapolis's most famous musical icons, created Paisley Park as his private estate and recording studio. Today, it's a museum and concert venue where you can explore Prince's legacy and occasionally catch live music events. You can also take a trip to the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame or embark on a tour that highlights Minneapolis's musical history, including spots associated with Prince, The Time, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and other notable musicians who have shaped the city's music scene. Make you so add the VIP tour to your registration to the Conference. We will all go together!
If you like to shop…visit the Mall of America. Located in Bloomington, Minnesota, -- a? suburb of Minneapolis -- it's approximately 10 miles south of downtown Minneapolis.? At the Theater District, you can check out what's playing at the Guthrie Theater or the Orpheum Theatre for a memorable cultural experience.
