Good Morning,
Today, I wanted to highlight some of the things we should not be doing in order to become our most confident selves.
Remove the negative so we can add some positive!
Here we go!
7 Things Confident People Don’t Do…
1. Constantly seek validation from others: ?constant need for approval stems from a lack of self-worth. ?It can show in fishing for compliments or taking on others opinions or interests to fit in. ?
2. ?Overly Critical of self: ?Self deprecating behavior in an indicator of low self esteem. ?When you don’t accept compliments, or are self deprecating you are diminishing your own self worth. ?
3. ?Avoiding confrontation: ?Avoidance can stem from fear of rejection, criticism or a desire to keep others happy even at the expense of self. ?
4. Playing the comparison game: Comparison is a losing game for all players. ?Comparison gets us to focus on what we don’t have and what we are probably not good at instead of being grateful for what we do have and celebrating our strengths and wins.
5. Struggle with making a decision: Not making a decision is a decision. ?Frequently second guessing ones self and delaying making a decision are signs of low self esteem. ?Indecisiveness and fear of making a wrong choice can be rooted in fear of failure and rejection.
6. Overly sensitive to criticism: ?When someone cannot accept constructive feedback but instead becomes defensive or angry ? because they see it as a personal attack, can indicate they are not very confident.?
7. Carrying a negative outlook: ?Focusing on negativity in the media, at work, personally or in general can be a reflection of how this person views themselves internally.?

1. Increased self-esteem: Confidence allows you to believe in yourself and your abilities, leading to higher self-esteem and self-worth.
2. Improved relationships: Confidence can help you communicate more effectively, assert your needs and boundaries, and build stronger connections with others.

5. Enhanced physical health: Studies have shown that confidence can have a positive impact on physical health, including lower rates of cardiovascular disease, better immune function, and improved longevity.
6. Increased resilience: Confidence can help you bounce back from setbacks and challenges more easily, allowing you to persevere and overcome obstacles with a positive mindset.
