7 Tactics to getting out of the Rut.

The Cambridge Academic Content Dictionary describes ‘to be in a rut’ as ‘to not have changed what you do or how you do it for a very long time so that it is not interesting any longer’.

I would also add, that being in a rut is also when you have an experience that leaves you so jaded that you no longer feel motivated, and you’re just going through the motions. Very much like what I spoke about last week, i.e. where you resign yourself and simply settle.
