Writing is one of the most important skills a student can learn. It helps you communicate with other people and express your thoughts clearly. Writing can be very easy, but it can also be challenging at times. Especially when you're trying to come up with ideas for different types of writing projects. The following sections will show you how to write in seven different styles.
1. Narrative Writing.
Narrative writing is a trendy style, and you will most likely come across it in your everyday life. Narrative writing is often used to tell a story or explain an experience. Still, it can also be used to persuade someone to buy something, like the adverts you see on television.
Narrative essays are written in the first person and focus on a single event or topic. The writer must provide details about their experience and feelings about the subject matter. Writing in this style allows the reader to feel like they're being told a story by another person rather than lectured by someone who thinks they know everything about them!
2. Descriptive
Descriptive writing is when you describe a person, place or thing. It can be something that you are used to seeing or something you have never seen before. Writing descriptive paragraphs allows the reader to become more interested in what they are reading because they are creating an image in their mind of what you are describing.
Describe something with lots of detail so the reader can imagine what it looks like in their mind using sensory information (what does it sound/smell/taste like etc.). You could also include an example sentence from someone who has experienced this object: 'When I saw my dog for the first time, I knew he was going to be mine.'
3. Expository
Expository writing is a type of writing in which the writer explains, describes or narrates something. It is used to inform or instruct and usually presents facts and ideas orderly (exposition) instead of argumentative or persuasive communication.
Expository writing is similar to reporting: you relay information gathered by someone else (or yourself). While it might seem that expository writing requires less creativity than other types of essays, there are still many different ways to approach this essay and make it interesting for your audience.

4. Persuasive
Persuasive writing is used to convince the reader of a point of view. It can be written in the first person, as an editorial or column, or in the third person, as an advertisement. In an ad, persuasive writing might attempt to persuade readers to buy a product by describing its features and benefits. In an editorial, persuasive writing may present evidence that supports a specific point of view on an issue.
5. Compare and contrast
Compare and contrast is a type of writing that compares two or more things. It's a way to show the similarities and differences between two or more items.
Compare and contrast can be used in many subjects, such as history, science, economics, and more. This style of writing has two main parts: Compare and Contras. The comparing part focuses on the similarities between the two things being compared (i.e., what makes them alike). Then there's a contra part where you focus on their differences (i.e., what makes them different).
6. Reflective
Reflective writing is a way of thinking about something that has happened and examining it from different angles. It's a particular way of looking at the world, and many people find it helpful when they want to think about how their experiences are related to other people's experiences. For example, if you're interested in how your culture affects your life, reflective writing might be the best way to understand those effects and whether they're good or bad.
7. Personal
Personal writing is about the writer's experience, feelings and thoughts. It can be a memoir, diary or journal.
Personal writing may take place either in the past or the future. Personal writers usually write about events that have happened to them personally and about their feelings and thoughts on these experiences (this is called introspection).
Conclusion
Writing is an important skill that can be used in many different ways. For example, to become a good writer, it's important to learn about all the different writing styles to know what type of writing works best for each situation.
