7 STEPS TO TRANSFORMING YOUR LIFE NOW
No matter how challenging your circumstances are right now, you are not a victim of them.
You get to choose how you think, feel and act in every moment.
I know that when life feels hard, it’s not easy to focus on possibility, but that choice lies with you in every single moment.
Here’s what you CAN do to create positive change in your life:
1. Create Your Vision. Identify the type of life you want to be living. Choose a vision that you can get behind and become obsessed with it. (Download my free 7-video series in the comments below to get help with that.)
2. Go All In. Decide that you will do ABSOLUTELY ALL YOU CAN to achieve that vision. ALL YOU CAN means all you can and nothing less. You don’t get to pick and choose. You dedicate your whole existence to turning your life around and creating this outcome. You’ve got to get tough with yourself.

3. Focus On Personal Growth material. Cut out all media entertainment and replace it with personal growth. There is an endless supply of personal growth available at your fingertips in the form of podcasts and on YouTube. I’d recommend The Fired-Up Coaching Podcast (obviously) and there are many great legends who offer great free inspirational material. Some examples are Jim Rohn, Lisa Nichols, Tony Robbins, Ed Mylett and Brendon Burchard.
4. Wake up EARLY. Consistently wake up early and dedicate your first hour to growth. Call it your power hour. Your routine should include meditation (and prayer if that is in alignment for you), visualization, exercise, reading, journaling and affirmations. If you start your day off like that, you are going to feel pretty great about yourself. You can mix and match some of the tasks. I have a dog so I’ll walk in the morning outside and listen to a book rather than reading one for example. My visualization happens at the end of my meditation. My affirmations happen in my journaling.
5. Eliminate. Eliminate anything from your diet that is zapping energy from you. You need all of your energy to focus on your positive growth. So that means that sugar, alcohol and anything else that you are ingesting that doesn’t contribute towards your positive future vision have got to go. Yes I know that sounds radical. Already reducing them will help a lot. But the reality is that if you are radically SERIOUS about positive change and you FIGHT FOR YOURSELF, you can do it. “In for a penny, in for a pound” - you might as well get the most from yourself right?
6. Heal. Allow yourself to feel discomfort and pain. Become okay with it. Replace the need to numb out when you feel discomfort with celebrating each time you ‘stay in the room’ and allow your body to process pain. That means toxic relationships you are choosing due to fear of being alone have also got to go. With each courageous step you take towards discomfort, you gain personal power. Being alone with yourself then doesn’t feel so bad because you like yourself more.
7. Hire a good coach. Invest in yourself. Get help with changing your thoughts, changing your perspective and overcoming the destructive inner narrative that has you believing that you are a victim of external circumstances and earned the right to feel sorry for yourself. You are not a victim of your circumstances. Change may take time, but if you dedicate your life to it and stay committed, you will experience a much different reality than you currently do now.
At the start of this message, I said 'you are not a victim of your circumstances'. You can be if you want to be. The choice truly is yours. But which decision do you think will serve you best? "I don't have the strength to change" is a thought you can choose to believe, but you and me both know that you've got more fight in you. You are a warrior and you know it!
