1) CASTING CALL:
Request information by completing our form and our Franchise Development team will reach out to you soon or call us directly at (877) 556-6184. During our first contact (a pre-qualification call), we will provide you with a quick overview of School of Rock franchising opportunities and talk about requirements, costs, and the viability/availability of the territory you are interested in. For candidates who are financially qualified and interested in an available territory, we will schedule a call with a Director of Franchise Development who will guide you through the next steps.
2) THE AUDITION: CANDIDATE INTERVIEWS
You will talk to our Director of Franchise Development about your qualifications, background, expectations, and territory as well as our business model. Feel free to ask questions, share your past work experiences and speak about your motivation to pursue opening your own School of Rock with our extremely knowledgeable franchising staff.
3) REHEARSAL: “FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT” (FDD) REVIEW
After a few calls with a Franchise Director, we will share the official Franchise?Disclosure Document with you. The?FDD? is a legal document presented to prospective franchisees with information about the School of Rock franchise system, how we work as a franchisor, and details on the business model so you can make an informed decision about your investment. The Franchise Director will review the Franchise?Disclosure Document with you and after you acknowledge receipt of the?FDD in writing, you will move on into the due diligence process.
4) ON TOUR & SESSIONS: PROGRAM REVIEW / DUE DILIGENCE
After reviewing the Franchise?Disclosure Document, it’s the moment to discuss details regarding financing, funding options, real estate, and outreach. Due Diligence also includes site visits, validation calls with current franchisees, interviews with our executives, and preparation of your business plan for presentation to your lender.
5) OPENING ACT: DISCOVERY DAY
Discovery Day is an event where you will have the chance to meet with our Leadership Team, dive into the School of Rock mission, speak about your goals and visit local schools. It’s an essential (and typically final) step of your decision-making process to decide if a School of Rock franchising opportunity is right for you. It also provides us an opportunity to determine your eligibility to acquire the franchise rights.
6) CONTRACT OFFER: FINAL APPROVAL / EXECUTION OF FRANCHISE AGREEMENT
Our Leadership Team will finish its evaluation and, if they extend an offer to award you a franchise, you will sign a Franchise Agreement and pay the franchise fee.
7) START YOUR FRANCHISE
After signing the Franchise Agreement and paying the franchise fee, you will be onboarded and welcomed to the School of Rock family! Our New School Openings team will schedule weekly calls with you to discuss all of the steps needed to open your location and will guide you every step of the way.
Now that’s all said and done, we hope to hear from you soon! Join us, and become a School of Rock owner. Let’s boost kids’ lives through music together.
