The 7 Step Business Strategy Framework
I have worked with a number of early stage companies recently that have amazing product concepts and technical capabilities but lack the polish on the business side. And when it comes to raising capital, you are going to be tested heavily on how you plan on creating value for all the stakeholders involved in your business. The way you identify a need, target market, validate the concept and bring it to market are all things that matter to investors and you need to be able to talk through how you will execute your business strategy. So, I decided to write out my “back of the napkin” approach to building a successful business strategy in 7 steps:
