Hello Dear Believer,
Welcome to the month of December, and thank you for subscribing to this newsletter.
............
It is God's desire that you should succeed in whatever you are involved in, and also be an ambassador of his excellence, goodness and blessing everywhere you go.
According to 1 Peter 2:9 (TPT), God sent Jesus to die for our salvation so we could broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world.
Also in 2 Corinthians 2:14b, God uses us to make manifest the savour of his knowledge in every place.
In other words, we are like sweet-smelling fragrances released on the earth by God to soothe the earth and leave a lasting and positive impression anywhere we find ourselves.
God did not intend for you to struggle through life and he certainly did not create you to be a failure.
Let us take a look at Joshua 1:8 (KJV). It says: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
The spiritual tools you need to thrive in business, and any endeavour in life, are contained in the verse above.
The latter part of the verse says that as you use the tools your way will be prosperous and you will also enjoy good success.
Please note that these spiritual tools are not a substitute for strategic planning and hard work.
1. The Book Of The Law
The book of the law referred to in the verse above means the thoughts of God for daily living as expressed in the bible.
If you are a bonafide child of God, your final judgement on the affairs of your life should be the word of God.
All Scripture?is?given by inspiration of God,?and?is?profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for?instruction in righteousness,?that the man of God may be complete,?thoroughly equipped for every good work - 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17 (NKJV).
The word good in the verse above also means valuable, productive, or virtuous. In other words, the word of God can equip you to be valuable to your society, nation, clients, organisation, family and industry.
The word of God can build you in such a way that you become a walking example of productivity.
Here is how the MESSAGE TRANSLATION puts 2 Timothy 3:16 & 17. It says: Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another--showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way.
Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.
The reason why many people, especially young Christians neglect and ignore the Bible today is that they think it is not relevant and applicable to their lives and today's world, but that's not true.
Insights from the scriptures can help you become a good doctor, tech guy, politician, name it.
Take a look at some interesting examples from the scriptures that are in use in today's tech-savvy world, below:
1.?In Exodus 31:18 - You will see that Moses was the first to use a Tablet to download stuff from heaven.
2. Numbers 11:25-26 is a glaring example of wireless technology on display.? If you also look carefully at verse 25, you will see the concept of cloud technology on display too.
3. Psalms 24:7-10 shows us the first use of the tech concept known as User Authentication.
4. In Numbers 22:21-30, You see the story of Balaam's donkey display how Robotics works or Artificial Intelligence, if you like. The list goes on.
The word of God is relevant and applicable to all areas of our lives today and it is the foundation for success and fulfilment.
2. Confession
Hebrews 10:23 (NKJV) urges that you hold fast the confession of your hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Taking another look at the main scripture for today's discourse, which is Joshua 1:8, you will notice that it instructs that the book of the law should not depart out of thy mouth.
The way to constantly put the word of God on your lips or mouth is through confession. Confession is simply saying the same thing as God as expressed in the bible.
Job 22:28 says: Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
3. Meditation
Joshua 1:8 says ...but thou shalt meditate therein day and night.
One of the meanings of meditation as used in Joshua 1:8 is to imagine. To studiously imagine.
Imagination is the conscious use of your mind to create accurate pictures of your desired future.
Your mind thinks in pictures and one of the fastest ways to store things in your mind's hard drive is through the use of images.
The Bible instructs that it should be done consistently, day and night. You have to ensure that you keep at it, no matter what the situation on the outside presents.
4. Joy
You have to maintain an attitude of gratitude and joy. Joy is a powerful atmosphere that can host the presence of God.
It is not dependent on how you feel or on the presence of encouraging signals and circumstances.
Joy is a product of your knowledge of God and his faithfulness, which comes from meditating on his word, capabilities, abilities, and person.
According to Isaiah 12:3 (NLT), With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation!
In other words, joy will give you access to the numerous possibilities made available to you in Christ.
5. Prayer
Prayer is communication with your Father. As you pray in the Spirit over your desire, the Holy Spirit himself encapsulates your words with the divine ability to make your utterances and supplication a reality.
Be sensitive as you pray, to hear and act on the instruction, because in it, lies the promotion you seek.
It is of no use going through this process only to miss out on the leading of the Holy Spirit.
6. Mercy
Much more than asking God for divine mercy, you also have to be a person that shows mercy to others.
Mercy produces favour. Proverbs 3:3-4 says: Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
God always rewards diligent people who go out of their way to ensure that others are better.
7. Fasting
You should also spend time to fast often. It sharpens your spiritual sensitivity and enables your spirit to easily pick instructions from the Lord.
Fasting is a form of sacrifice and heaven prioritises sacrifices. Here is what Psalm 50:5-6 says Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
It is my prayer that as you apply these spiritual tools, your results will cause you to be celebrated by everyone around you in the mighty name of Jesus.
