7 Science and Engineering Masterpieces (books) that out-of-print

I have compiled a list of science and engineering books that I consider to be masterpieces that are out-of-print but still relevant and valuable sources of knowledge.

Principles of Heat Transfer by Massoud Kaviany (2001)

Technical illustrations in this Engineering classic is second to none, well-explained, equations were systematically and methodically derived and easy to follow. Excellent examples of solved problems that were practical and close to real-world.

This book is close to impossible to get. There is a copy at Singapore Central Library, 7th floor, shelf 18

Computational Fluid Dynamics by John D Anderson (1995)

In the field of Aerodynamics, John D Anderson needs no introduction at all. He has also authored classics in the field such as Introduction to Flight and Fundamentals of Aerodynamics.

Fundamentals of Applied Dynamics by James H Williams, Jr (2019)
