1.?? It’s not about selling – it’s about communication
Selling is simple – but it isn’t easy! Your best investment is in your communication skills
2.?? ?Get their attention
First impressions count – you are the face of the company – make an impression - and make it a good one!
3.?? ?Uncover the real need
Wants and needs vary tremendously. Assume nothing! Needs are the non-negotiables (we all need water to survive) Wants are more nuanced (I want a large soy double shot cappuccino, with extra chocolate on top) Your goal is to tailor your product to their wants and needs ?

4.?? ?We buy on emotion...
Tell them a story... explain how you helped a client in similar circumstances. Paint a picture and then ‘sell on all senses’
5.?? ?But we kind of like it backed up with logic!

(Knowing your products or services is only 10% of the sale... but you need to know 100% of the 10%)?
6.?? ?Ask for action
Getting someone excited about a product or service and then not asking for the business is a bit like talking about a party to someone and then not inviting them!
Tell them how you can help and then say 'What do you think?' and wait. ?
7.?? People buy from people that they like, know and trust
You don’t need to be their best friend, but if they don’t like you enough to hand over their money, they will look elsewhere?
