1. Try to start as early as possible. In early age you can take more risks, aspirations and energy is very high and you don't have any precursors about success and failure. Also, even if you fail, learnings can be useful for subsequent venture or could be very useful even if you wish to do job for some time before venturing again.
2. Try to independently travel as much as possible. Travel within country or across boarders can be very useful for learning different cultures. This helps in boosting confidence and broadens your horizon and way you look at things.
3. Try to be part entrepreneurial ecosystems around your place. This helps in learning from experiences of others and also helps in enhancing confidence to start venture. Entrepreneurs are people with tremendous positive energy and positive mindset, so you are in right company if you are part of such ecosystems.
4. Try to read as much as possible. Reading can be one of the most cost-effective learning tools. Also, it need not be only management, technology or business reading. Reading in different areas can be also very useful for understanding people, places, technology, economics, politics, human behavior and environment dynamics.
5. Try to question existing ways of doing things and identify opportunities from problems around you.
6. Don't start something for making money. Start something for making difference and making meaning, money will follow. Do something you are deeply passionate about, passionate enough that you are able to inspire people around you, help them believe in you and get them on board with you.
7. It is not easy path. It is path less travelled. So be ready for surprises and hurdles. Perseverance or persistence is key for staying in the game.

5 å¹´Satish- Why "Don't start something for making money" , I have seen people who kept this secondary and failed even after being very passionate and competent. Entrepreneur to Businessman journey has to start as soon as company is incorporated.? Traveling and Reading are MUST. Thanks for the post.
