7 Reasons - WHY INDIA LOST SEMIS

Why India lost the semi-final world cup 2019? When you look deep there are quite a few reasons.

It's not to blame Team India- But after every big Loss - Reasons must be found. After all India have now lost 4 Knock Out crucial games in last 4 years.

1. CWC2019 Lost to NZ in Semis (Weaker team - An Upset)
2. CWC2015 lost to AUS in Semi Final (Superior Team - Acceptable)
3. CHAMPIONS Trophy 2017 Lost to PAK in Finals (From weaker team - Upset)
4. T20 World Cup - 2016 - Lost of WI in Semi Finals (Equals in T20 Format)

And I feel there are somethings we all can learn from with this Loss of 2019

So here are my 7 REASONS why India Lost :

1. EXPERIENCE MATTERS : Dhoni & Jadeja did what most players in entire world cup can't do. Staying in the game for almost 20 overs from a hopeless 92-6 (30 ov) to 207-7 (47.5 Ov) . Together they had exp of 500+ ODIs. This is what was evident.

2. LOSING EXPERIENCE Mid Way Campaign will hurt - SHIKHAR DHAWAN. India was almost settling down with Shikhar Rohit on top, Kohli at 3 and Rahul at 4. Then Losing Shikhar made life difficult. Come crunch situation that Chink in Armour of No. 4 proved Fatal for India.

3. RISHABH PANT - RELYING on VERY YOUNG to do a very DIFFICULT Job isn't right! Rishabh came at No. 4. Tough situation. Tough match and even after settling down, just could not sustain the pressure from Santner. He bowled 2 Overs for 1 Run. Rishabh could not let go an Left hand spinner. Gave his wicket. It's not his fault completely - but Management should have foreseen it coming. And may be Dhoni at No. 4 would have been better. Rishabh with his talent became MAXWELL of India. Amazing but disappointing!

4. EVEN EXPERIENCED guys can't perform when they do a job which they have never Done - DINESH KARTHIK. 2 Days before the Semis he was in press conference and clearly said his role is No. 7 and Finish the game with Aggression and staying Not Out. Next match he was sent at No. 5. Swinging conditions and Score was 5-3. With Rishabh at other end. Miscommunication in team clearly at crunch moment.

5. NOT CHOOSING RIGHT GUY for RIGHT JOB - RAYUDU. Rayudu averages almost 50 in 2017-18. Left out because of IPL form or may be favoritism or 3D Glasses comment. He was India's insurance policy when India will loose all top 3 Quickly. He has done in the past with Dhoni. Settled technique - Not flamboyant and true class. He did the same in NZ, vs NZ in 2019 when Ind was 17-4 (Rohit, Shikhar, Dhoni all gone) then scored 90* and India posted 252. India won by 30+ runs.

6. Never Judge Someone - Without using his SKILLS Fully. KEDAR Jadhav. In the same match Rayudu Jadhav stiched 84 Runs partnership - after India 117-5. His bowling skills were never used. He even scored a 50 against AFG in tough Spinning Condition in CWC 2019. Which Rishabh and Karthik both did not. Yet he was dropped. He was Not Out in 3 Innings. Karthik has not been a part of WORLD CUP Build up. Rishabh was extremely young. KEDAR could have done the job. May be.

7. Lack of COMMUNICATION/ Coordination in Management and Captain- Rishabh at 4, Karthik at 5, Pandya 6 and Dhoni 7. Could the sequence of Players may have made a difference? Who knows, but What's significant is :

Rishabh haven't played at this Situation and Position much.

Karthik never played No. 5 in last 1 year

Dhoni mostly plays 5-6 Not 7.
