7 Principles that will make you a WINNER IN BUSINESS

1. WHAT BUSINESS ARE YOU IN (Vision)?

- What business are you in?

- What do you?

- What are The bolts and nuts of your business?

- I f you cannot define the nature of your business, how do you expect your team and your market to know that you exist so they can come to you for help.?

2. WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?

- Why does your company exist?

- Whats the motivating factor of your business?

- What problem do you want to solve?

- What value are you adding to your employees?

-What value are you adding to your customers?

- What value are you adding to your suppliers?

- What value are you adding to your partners?

- What value are you adding to your directorate, your board?

Remember EVERY BUSINESS SHOULD BE IN THE BUSINESS OF SOLVING A PROBLEM TO MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR YOUR PEOPLE (YOUR  TARGET MARKET)!

3. HOW DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?

- How do you do business?

- Is this the best way to do what you do?

- Is this the most innovative way to do what you do?

- Is this the most simplest way to do what you do?

- Is there another way to do what you do?

- Have you thought about a better way of doing what you do? because there is always a better way.

- Is your process of doing business sustainable?

- Are you conducting your business with integrity?

Remember; ANY BUSINESS THATS NOT BUILT ON INTEGRITY BOTH IN ITS DEALINGS WITH EMPLOYEES, CUSTOMERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS IS A TICKING TIME BOMB WAITING TO EXPLODE!

4. WHO LEADS YOUR BUSINESS (LEADERSHIP)?

-  Who is leading the business?

- Is the leader a visionary?

- Is he a strategist?

-Is he a people person?

-Does the leader value people (his staff and customers)?

- Is the leader in the business of developing people (staff)?

- Does the leader intentionally put up processes that are there genuinely to develop people without any terms and conditions to keep them bound to the company?

- Does the leader REALLY CARE about people?

Remember; EVRYTHING RISES AND FALLS ON LEADERSHIP!

5. WHO IS YOUR TEAM?

- Who is in your team?

- How motivated they are?

-How customer focused are they?

- How innovative are they?

- How hardworking are they?

- How loyal are they?

- How honest are they?

- Whats your teams level of integrity?

- Does your team say what they say and do what they say?

6. WHATS YOUR ORGANIZATIONS RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS?

- Do you have a relationship with your customers?

- Do they know that they are important to you as a business?

- Do you intentionally seek to let your customers know that they are valued?

- Do you intentionally build longterm relationships as a business both with your customers and your staff?

-Do you set up processes intentionally tailored at embracing and nurturing relationships with all stakeholders involved in your business?

Remember; as much as profits are important IF RELATIONSHIPS WITH CUSTOMERS AND POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS IS NEGLECTED THEN THERE ARE NO PROFITS AT ALL!

7. DO YOU ENCOURAGE A CULTURE OF REFLECTIVE THINKING FROM BOTTOM UP?

- Do you encourage your staff to be reflective thinkers?

- Do you encourage a culture of learning?

- dO you develop your people?

- Do you encourage your people to learn from their mistakes?

-Do you encourage your staff to make mistakes? and see them as learning experience as they get better?

The above will surely set your business up for success.
