There’s a reason LinkedIn is known as the professional social network – it’s a great platform for networking, building relationships, and finding jobs.
But even if you’re using LinkedIn regularly, there’s a good chance you’re not taking advantage of all its features. Here are 7 powerful LinkedIn features you may not be using:
1. Company Pages
LinkedIn has long had individual profiles, but did you know that companies can also have their pages? These pages are a great way to learn more about a company you’re interested in working for or to keep up with news from companies you already work for.
To find a company page, just search for the company name in the search bar. You can also follow companies you’re interested in to get their updates in your LinkedIn feed.
2. Groups
Groups are another great way to connect with professionals with similar interests or to stay up-to-date on news in your industry. There are groups for just about anything, so take some time to browse and see if there are any that interest you.
You can join up to 50 groups, but try not to join too many – otherwise, you’ll quickly become overwhelmed with notifications and messages.
3. Jobs
Looking for a new job? LinkedIn can help with that! The Jobs section of the site lets you search for open positions, and you can filter by location, industry, and other criteria.
You can also set up job alerts so you’ll be notified when new positions that match your criteria are posted.
4. InMail
InMail is a feature that lets you contact LinkedIn members even if you’re not connected to them. This can be useful if you’re trying to reach someone who’s not responding to your connection request or if you want to get in touch with someone at a company you’re interested in working for.
InMail credits can be purchased in packages of 10, 20, or 50, and they don’t expire. You can also earn free InMail credits by completing certain tasks, such as adding your profile photo.

5. LinkedIn Learning
If you want to learn new skills or brush up on your existing ones, then LinkedIn Learning is for you.
This feature gives you access to thousands of online courses taught by experts in their respective fields.
So whether you want to learn how to code, design, market, or anything else, LinkedIn Learning has you covered.
6. LinkedIn Polls
LinkedIn Polls are a great way to engage with your connections and get their opinions on various topics.
You can use this feature to ask questions about industry trends, find out what people think about your product or service, or get feedback on anything else.
7. LinkedIn Publisher
If you have something valuable to say, then you should consider using LinkedIn Publisher.
This is a feature that allows you to write and publish articles on LinkedIn.
Your articles can be about anything you want, but they should be well-written and offer value to your readers.
Most of the courses are free, but some do require a subscription. However, you can usually access a preview of each course before you decide whether or not you want to subscribe.
