1) RehBody at the European Researchers' Night in Seville ?
RehBody App participated in the #EuropeanResearchersNight in Seville, an event celebrating science and innovation. It was a fantastic opportunity to share our commitment to #DigitalHealth and the development of technological solutions to enhance well-being.
We interacted with professionals, students, and especially the little ones, who showed inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm for science and technology.
At RehBody App , we believe that the future of health lies in #Innovation, and events like this highlight the importance of sharing knowledge across all generations?????
2) ?? Lateral Elbow Tendinopathy Exercises ??
Lateral elbow tendinopathy, commonly known as tennis elbow, is a condition caused by overuse or strain of the tendons around the lateral part of the elbow, leading to pain and reduced function in daily activities. Comprehensive treatment for lateral elbow tendinopathy includes exercise therapy and sensorimotor retraining as ??key components for effective recovery??.
We propose to you these 8?? exercises!! ??
??Wrist Radial Deviation
??Wrist Extension in Pronation
??Shoulder Flexion
??Wrist Extension with #ReHandApp
??Elbow Flex-Ext with Combined Prone-Supination
??Forearm Pronation-Supination with Elastic Band
??Wrist Flexion in Supination with Elastic Band
??Upper Limb Functional Exercise

3) ?? New Guideline in Distal Radius Fracture!!??
A new Clinical Practice Guideline for Distal Radius Fracture (DRF) Rehabilitation has been published. This document aimed at improving patient outcomes with the most current research. This all-encompassing resource offers expert advice for #HandTherapy, #Physiotherapy, and #OccupationalTherapy interventions.
Key recommendations are categorized by evidence level:
?? STRONG EVIDENCE: Evaluation of pain and functional disability using PRWE, or either DASH and Michigan Hand Questionnaire.
?? MODERATE EVIDENCE: Initiate progressive submaximal strengthening (e.g., towel squeezes, putty and light load grip exercises) 2 weeks after fx.
?? LIMITED EVIDENCE: Assessment of pinch strength and wrist joint position sense to evaluate precision in handling small objects and proprioceptive ability.
?? CONFLICTING EVIDENCE: No recommendation can be made for or against supervised therapy, an independent home exercise program, or no therapy for young individuals without complications or comorbidities.
?? EXPERT OPINION: Five Times Chair Stand Test (CST) to assess lower extremity muscle strength (>12 seconds indicates impaired lower extremity muscle strength).

4) ?? Distal Radius Fracture Decision Tree - Updated to 2024!??
?? This 2024 guideline provide fresh insights for guiding the treatment, assessment, and rehabilitation of distal radius fractures. We now introduce a new decision-making pathway to streamline rehabilitation for radius fractures:
??1 Initial orthopedic Management
??2 Outcome measures
??3 Prognosis
??4 Intervention strategies

5) ?? 7 Must-Have Apps for Physiotherapists??♂?
Technology has transformed physiotherapy, making patient management easier and optimizing treatments. Digital tools?? enable us to create precise rehabilitation plans, conduct detailed assessments, and better educate our patients remotely????.
Adopting these technologies improves the quality of care? while saving time? and resources, maximizing both effort and outcomes??. Digitalizing our practice is essential to meet the evolving needs of patients and the healthcare environment.

6) ?? 6 Lowe Limb Functional Assessment Tests Validated for Video Calls ??
Traditional in-person care can be challenging, especially in remote areas. However, telemedicine—through video calls, mobile apps, and emerging technologies like AI—is transforming the field, enabling high-quality evaluations and treatments without the need for travel.
?? While we're used to applying functional tests for precise patient assessments, can they also be valid when performed through video calls?
According to Lawford BJ et al. (2022), six tests are valid for lower limb functional assessment via telemedicine. Can you guess which ones?
1?? 30 Second Chair Stand Test
2?? Stair Climb Test
3?? Timed Up and Go Test
4?? Step Test
5?? Timed Single-Leg Stance
6?? Calf Raise Test
