In 2018 my mom passed away, which really changed things for me. I've always been the happy guy, and when she died, something went missing. My mom had an amazing skill. She loved just about everyone. I didn't realize how powerful that skill was until I saw how packed the church was at her funeral. I was proud of who she was in the moment. She touched a lot of lives just by staying connected with them. Since her passing, I've had to fight my way through depression, but I am winning that battle now.?

Miracle #1 is I discovered the power of just loving others for who they are.

In 2019 I went after my dream of traveling in an RV, and to accomplish it, I used my morning success system. You can read about it?here.?I bought an older one, a 1992

Toyota Warrior, and I renovated it, which is a whole other story, and then I hit the road. My dream was to run my business from the road while traveling. A few months into the adventure, though, I started to get lonely and almost went broke. So, I limped back to Kansas City and pressed pause on the vision. I did have some great experiences and learned a ton about RV life.?

When I made it back to Kansas City and decided to sell my RV, I listed it for sale, and the first time I did, crickets. Nada. Nothing! Then, it hit me to spill my guts about the RV and share everything good and bad about it. It worked! It sold that week and sight unseen to a cute older couple in Atlanta. I learned from that experience to open up and tell the WHOLE truth, and people will trust you. They said they bought it because they trusted my honesty.

I drove it from KC to Atlanta and almost crashed the rig about 10 miles before I got there. I hydroplaned off the exit ramp and took out a road sign. Luckily no significant damage, and it all worked out. They were fantastic, and we celebrated their new purchase with dinner and a special Georgia pie that night. They let me stay the night and even took me to the airport in the morning.?

Miracle #2 Be vulnerable and share the truth, and it will set you free...or in my case, sell an old RV :)

Then covid hit, and this is where I began to come back to God. I rented a temporary room in an old house in Kansas City, KS. The home was next to a huge church, which I took as a giant symbol I needed God back in my life. I hadn't trusted God for a while, and I think my thick head, aka pride, needed a huge unmistakable sign.?

Miracle #3 Actually paying attention to the signs around me?

I kept pressing away at my coaching and speaking business throughout the pandemic, but to be honest with you, something wasn't working. To be even more honest with you, I never made more than $18,000 a year since I've started. I used my life savings to go after the dream, and it didn't work out as I expected. One of the hardest lessons I've learned is that I was doing it for the wrong reason. I thought I could get rich, and that would fix everything. I learned that chasing money doesn't pay. What I have learned is that being of service to others is where the real riches and fulfillment are. There’s something truly fulfilling about just helping another human being.

Miracle #4 Learning service to others is where the real fulfillment is!

Running the business and living in that house wasn't working, and on the inside, I was miserable. I ended up Ubering and delivering groceries with Instacart to get by. I was thinking about moving and unsure where to go next. So, I asked God for a sign.?

I had a conversation with my older brother, and I told him what was happening. He shared, "You can always come back here and stay with me if you need to." I was resistant to that. Stupid pride. A week later, he called and said, "If you're still thinking about moving, I could use some help around the house." In my head, my brother doesn't ask for help, and I took that as my sign. So, I moved back to St. Louis and started a new chapter.

Miracle #5 I asked for a sign and paid attention this time

I lived with him for a year and what happened during that time was a huge miracle. I had asked God to help me see the best in people because I was tired of judging others. My brother went from my older brother, who should definitely do things "my" way, to seeing him in a whole new light during that year. I now see him as my older brother, a hardworking father, a successful business owner, and someone who gives of himself more than I knew. Sometimes, I think family members can be the hardest not to judge.?

Miracle #6 Loving others. Realizing no one needs to be fixed! God doesn't make broken people, and our human egos do, and that's not God's work.

I came to terms with my pride and decided to stop the business for a while. It was time to get a job. So I used my morning success system, set my intention, and started taking action to reach my new goal. I knew I still wanted to travel, so I set my intention to get a remote position. It took a few months and lots of networking, but I landed a great job with a wonderful company, working remotely! Sprinklr has been awesome!! Great culture and people to work with!

One of the biggest miracles came these last few weeks, though. See, I overcomplicate, overthink, and don't listen to people. A LOT! I'll never forget when my brother told me(more than once), "You don't listen" I didn't believe him, but I see it now! I've been so in my head that I couldn't listen to others. I just couldn't see it back then, but I do now.

Thanks to some great coaching and support from my friends Allen Little and Mike Kitko, it finally dawned on me.?I overthink Everything! DUH! It only took 43 years :) Funny... NOT so Funny.

Now, though, I am present when I am overthinking things. I am 1000% more present, and it's been amazing! I've been missing out on so much because of my overthinking.

Miracle #7 Actually listening to family and friends who called me out on my crap.

I am so grateful for all these miracles happening. Thank you, God! This system has been a tremendous asset for me and has kept me moving forward. I started using this with a friend of mine, Robert, and he turned his life around with it.?

It's been inspiring to see how things have changed for him. He went from losing his business and going bankrupt to finding a job, progressing inside that job to landing his dream job there, to starting to run again, and has now run several half marathons. Plus, getting married along the way! He broke through SO many fears along his journey, and I just smile thinking about it. Click?here?to check out the system.

Now, I am using this to continue going after my dream. #NeverGiveUP

As I write you, I am living in Floria and just purchased a motorhome! This time a big one with room to actually live and work in. The last one was a bit too tiny! This time though, I've got a great job, and I am going after my mission and vision of inspiring others.
