7 Lifestyle & dietary changes that could lower your risk of breast cancer

Breast cancer, one of the most prevalent diseases among women, has shown links to various lifestyle and dietary factors. While genetics plays a significant role, certain lifestyle and diet modifications can help in reducing the risk. 1. Keep a Healthy Weight

Maintaining an optimal weight reduces the risk of several chronic diseases, including breast cancer. Excess weight can lead to increased estrogen production, which is linked to breast cancer. Regularly monitoring your weight and making necessary adjustments to your lifestyle can help in reducing the associated risks.

2. Reduce Alcohol Intake

Even moderate alcohol consumption can increase the risk of breast cancer. By cutting down or eliminating alcohol, you can significantly lower your risk. If you do consume alcohol, try to limit it to no more than one drink per day.
