Life is commuting on a bumpy road. Regardless of your driver’s expertise, you’ll encounter unavoidable roadblocks.
You can stop the car and whine about it or learn to go through those bumpy roads without getting killed.
I’ve crossed 30, and for the past seven years, I’ve learned some valuable life lessons that I am willing to share with my readers.
I hope you’ll take these seriously and live a meaningful and impactful life.
1. There is no right time to do something. Focus on the present
In late 2017, summer, I informed my parents about a profession I am willing to pursue with no believable future.?I am going to be a writer.?My parents wanted me to pursue engineering and become a programmer, but somewhere down my soul, I felt like writing is the right choice for me. And after five years, my parents feel proud whenever a fan or even a family member congratulates my parents for my writing.
Today, you'll earn handsomely if you choose writing as a profession. It’s not about the time. If you want to do something, do it, regardless of what people say to you. If you’re willing enough and with firm belief in yourself, you’ll beat the odds and become the best in your field.
Use the present moment to build a better tomorrow.
2. Success is a lonely place. You’ll lose 90% of your friends on your way up
Friends tend to stick with you until you meet their expectations. Mostly, when people leave you, it is because, according to them, you change. It’s not changing; it is you upgrading your life.
Once you start progressing in your life, your beliefs change, and your friends will leave.
And you must tune yourself with this reality. Friends leave, but life goes on.
3. Your parents are not responsible for your problems
Human is the most awesome creation. If they set their mind to something, they achieve it.
So, everything you do is your responsibility. Your parents did a good job raising you. But stop blaming them for your troubles.
A quote I’ve been reading since my childhood, and I truly believe it.

Take control of your life and do things that advance your life forward in a positive way.
4. Train your mind to ignore unnecessary agreements
You don't need to win every argument. Leave some for mental peace.
Let the people win if you find it challenging to win an argument. Nothing is superior to your mental health.
Let them win now, and win them over with your success later.
5. Don’t take things personally
Everyone is battling over something. You cannot judge what people feel on a certain day. If they disrespect you or ignore you, forgive them anyway
It is not because they’re superior or you are better; forgive them because of your mental peace. Because if you take things personally, it will torment your soul and mental peace, which you don’t want to happen. So, forgive people and move on.
6. Ideas are cheap. Execution is everything
Reading 1,000 self-help books won’t change anything in your life. But if you execute one idea from those books, your life will improve tenfold.
I am a voracious reader. But as soon as I started implementing the ideas, my life improved significantly.
7. Say ‘bye’ to toxic relationships
There is no point in living with toxic relationships. Give yourself peace of mind by leaving all the toxic people that make your life hell.
It’s okay to move away from those people. As mentioned earlier, I have realized that mental peace surpasses everything else in life.
Closing note
Life is short. Don’t waste it on trivial things/people. Live the life that gives you peace and satisfaction. Don’t let others control your life. Be the protagonist of your life’s story. And use these tips to live a life full of meaning.
