7 Learnings in 7 years of Professional Life!!

It was in the year 2013, this day was my best milestone – the 1st day of my career. Its been a great journey so far with loads of learnings and experiences throughout. In today’s economy where everyone is looking for job satisfaction, appreciating employment can be a game-changing factor.

In the professional life we learn, we fail, we try, we gain, we laugh, we cry, we celebrate & we rise.

I would like to pen down the 7 best learnings which I learnt in these 7 years of my professional life. These were best spent days which I wish to re-create again ??

#1. Each Day is a Learning

      I have been following this since my career kickstart and has helped a lot in order to grab lot many things keeping my eyes & ears always open.

#2. Never build any Relationship at work

      This is a critical situation where every amateur professional is binded with. Relations I refer here is friendship in which many of us would have a soft corner and help them always by not saying “NO” despite having your own targets to achieve or ready to speak against their mistakes. Please don’t get into such situations which can be your weakness.

#3. Stay Focused and Be Multi-skilled

      Always keep yourself self-trained by up-skilling regularly. A person with 1 or 2 skills is not sufficient in this era. When you are focused towards your dream & target no one can divert your firm decision.

#4. Be Transparent & Follow Ethics

      Never get into office politics. It ruins your personal & professional lifestyle. Always abide to business ethics and be a straight thinker & executer. Be Confident!

#5. Always have a Smile

      We all will face many hurdles and stress while at work. Nevertheless, have a beautiful smile always which builds internal strength and spreads positivity around you.

#6. Give time to Self & Family

      Work is not everything. We all work for a livelihood and to have good family status. Always spend quality time with your family members/loved ones as they are our backbones and we should always stay connected. Give time to yourself and stay healthy.

#7. Share Knowledge & Help Colleagues

      If you are excelling in any area of work, please share your knowledge/expertise and build a stronger team. Always be ready to help your colleagues in a smarter way which in turn gives you a sense of satisfaction. Nobody wins a battle alone!

These were the learnings from my small journey of professional life. Happy for every lesson learnt and implemented in my life which added value enormously. Thanks to my family members who are always supporting & encouraging my path. Also, would like to thank every person whom I worked with in these 7 years.
