7 Installation Tips For Any Backup Camera System

-?For large semi-trailers: Always avoid mounting rear cameras?above?a light to avoid washing out the camera’s view. Aim for a spot in between existing lights, preferably between the center light and the light directly to its right or left.?

- Avoid installing side cameras near air vents on?step vans, trucks, and other commercial vehicles.

-?Side cameras?usually need to be installed at an angle of 8°, and this needs to be set before drilling the holes. Once determined, mark the hole locations before drilling.?

- Use cameras within the voltage range specified. Failure to do so can cause electric shock or product malfunction.

- Where the power cable may touch a metal case, cover the cable with friction tape. A short circuit or disconnected wire may cause a fire.

- Once the system is powered up, you will need to adjust the angle of the camera.?
