1. Change Management: People who want to change initially face trouble in their lives.The Society laughs at Mahavir Sing on his decision of asking daughters to be a wrestler : Consistency and repeated sensitization of changes is the only key to effective change Mgtt.
2. Talent Acquisition and Gender Diversity: Mahavir Singh was expecting a baby boy to complete his dream of getting gold medal for the country but finally managed to get the same by his daughters. HR should learn to manage with the existing resources. Capability building is a key.
3. Training and Development : We should believe in utilizing internal trainers first as no one knows our employees and their training needs better.
4. Research and Analysis : Mahavir Singh studies the past videos of Geeta Kumari to understand the reason behind her failure in international performance. Effective HRIS gives insights about past and help in the strategy ahead.
5. Goal Setting : The National coach sets the goal of bronze medal for Geeta, while Mahavir Singh sets the Gold Medal for Geeta. HR is a facilitator in performance management process.HR should help the HODs to set right goals for the team.
6. Mentoring and Coaching is required throughout the career: Mahavir singh really did a wonderful job in coaching his daughters throughout. HR should focus on continuous coaching for employees. It is required across level.
7. Trust is a game changer : Mahavir singh's trust in his daughters despite all odds reposes confidence in his daughters. HR should ensure that the employees and employer share a strong bond of trust. It will help the organisation to sustain even in worst business circumstances.
"Dangal" showcases many more social and behavioral dimensions of society and individual personality.
