Everyday habits can make or break the success of a project manager. They’re a critical part to our company’s success and they play very important roles in each and every event. Executing project can be very stressful, with everything they have to deal with, but highly successful ones must form good routines that will help them get the credit they deserve.
So let's take a look on how Verve Project Manager turns key tasks into everyday habits:
1. First things First
Creating a project plan is the first thing you should do when undertaking any project. No project is risk-free, and you will do yourself a favor by developing a detailed plan on every possible outcome. That’s the moment when you see whether the project is worth your time or not. If it’s given the green light, then go for it!
2. Be Proactive
Disaster happens. So the real question here is: how you're going to get things back on track when this occur? Instead of waiting for things to happen, be ready in advance. Anticipate any possible unforeseen complications and have set of actions already planned. Always be one step ahead.
3. Client is King
This one seems like self-evident, but putting the needs of the clients at the forefront of decision making is vital and ultimately will lead to a success. So go that extra mile for the client and make them happy. No joking with the expectations of our clients.
4. Think Out-of-the-box
It's more than just another cliché. Don't limit your creativity, think outside the box because that's what separates the best from the rest. Find that breakaway moment. The greatest ideas are just right in front of you!
5. Embrace Technology
Keeping up with the latest tech trends can be difficult. But striking the perfect balance between technology and your attendees is the core element of every event. Push the boundaries of what’s possible. There is no limit what technology can do for events.
6. Communication is Key
Make sure that the plan is clear and everyone in your team is on the same page. Eliminate confusion from the very start and try to maintain the highest level of understanding throughout the whole project to ensure everyone is taking their part and works efficiently.
7. Dedicate Resources
The first and last person guests see at an event is the hostess. Because of this, make sure your staff is trained to deliver exceptional practices for these moments to make your guests feel “special” – be great at the greet!
