The 7 Habits every Leader should follow to analyse ACHIEVEMENT & PERFORMANCE ISSUES :
When ever there is any Performance issuer, undesired behaviour outcome, Leader should analyse using ACHIEVE MODEL :
Ability : Does the Employee have ability, capability to do the Task.
Clarity : Is there Clarity of Goals, What is to be achieved.
Help : Does the employee has been given required Skills Training, Right type of Tools, Equipment.
Incentive : Why should an employee achieve targets, perform well, follow rules, SOP's. Are non monetary & Monetary Incentives, in place.
Evaluate : Are the Supervisors trained to measure performance. Is performance KRA, KPI defined, documented, explained & measurable.
Validity : Is the desired behaviour, outcome, performance, relevant to the existing process, situation & will it help in achieving broader organisational goals & mission.
Environment : Every organisation exists & functions in an open, dynamic environment. Hence, environment, both internal & external may influence an employee behaviour & outcome.
If Leaders Follow this ACHIEVE MODEL, it will help them to analyse the reason for high performance, low performance & they can better support the Team members!
