Today, for the first time, I had the privilege of attending a leadership forum and listening to the beautiful Tanja Jones. WOW! What an inspirational woman with so much knowledge to share. Here are 7 great leadership lessons I learned from Tanja today. Thanks Tanja!
- You won't believe the message until you believe in the messenger.
- How your people show up is a direct reflection of the environment you created.
- The greatest leaders are those that empower others to solve. Encourage your team to bring 2 solutions for each problem.
- Confidence: Know that you will never wake up confident. It's a pathway. Give yourself permission to practice.
- You don't get to be a leader when it only suits you.
- Leaders are there to encourage. Lift people up. Be that beam of light to everyone around you.
- Have a section in your sales meeting called "embraced mistakes". This helps create a safe environment to learn and grow.
