7 Digital Asset Management Predictions for 2017

Attending Intelligent Content Conference in early 2016, I knew that it is going to be a big year for the Digital Asset Management Industry. Never before the concepts that were core to DAM strategy resonated so much with the needs and challenges of marketers all over the world. This year we’ve seen three major developments that moved DAM into the mainstream marketing technology stack:

1.    DAM became the backbone of structured and scalable content

2.    DAM took place as the source of content and media for core marketing platforms: social, marketing automation, web to list a few

3.    DAM expanded from marketing departments to become the stepping stone to organization-wide digital transformation

Looking back at 2016 industry evolution is incredible, but what’s really exciting is what’s in store for 2017. Technology innovation of major cloud platforms, DAM advancements and the creativity of top marketer’s visions and strategies will push DAM further than we’ve ever seen. Here are Seven Reasons I can’t wait for 2017 to come.
